In treating our illnesses, a doctor is trained to take only minimal account of “WHO WE ARE”, our past, the lives we lead, our feelings.
According to the "First Biological Law", the “conflict-shocks" that we suffer from - which could be the death of or separation from a loved one, the loss of one’s job, failure, betrayal, the diagnosis of a malignant disease, etc. - trigger a "MEANINGFUL BIOLOGICAL PROGRAMME" which manifests itself simultaneously on three levels: PSYCHE, BRAIN, ORGAN.
This "MEANINGFUL BIOLOGICAL PROGRAMME" (according to the "Second Biological Law") consists of two phases. In the first phase the individual is in a permanent state of "sympathicotonia" in an attempt to overcome the obstacle (the shock that produces the biological conflict). Once the conflict has been resolved, the individual enters the second stage (known as "vagotonia") in order to undergo "repair": it is during this stage that painful symptoms occur. Once this phase is over the patient returns to normality.
During the two phases (according to the "Third Biological Law"), the body’s cells behave differently depending on their embryonic derivation: there are cells which proliferate (tumours, cysts, nodules) or which increase their functioning; and cells that become necrotic (pus) or reduce their functioning.
Microbes (fungi, bacteria and viruses) have the function of repairing the tissues that have been over-stimulated in an attempt to overcome the conflict ("Fourth Biological Law").
Every individual "MEANINGFUL BIOLOGICAL PROGRAMME" is, in turn, incorporated into a broader "MEANINGFUL BIOLOGICAL PROGRAMME OF NATURE" ("Fifth Biological Law").
The 5 Biological Laws thus overturn the traditional concept of disease, which is no longer seen as something negative and meaningless to be fought, but as a phase during which the body “repairs” itself. Every person has her or his specific course of “repair” (healing) which is unique and cannot be “labelled” according to specific categories of disease: our body is a wonderful machine, equipped with infinite resources. We need to respect its rhythms and to understand that listening to our own bodies and not to those of others is the first important step in undertaking with courage and awareness the more or less long and difficult path that lies ahead.

The Medical diagnosis is the usual one of an inflammation caused by bacteria.
According to the 5 BLs, it instead represents the “vagotonic” phase, involving repair with swelling of a previous phase of ulceration of the floor epithelium of the bladder and/or urethra.
The state of biological conflict that gives rise to these particular processes is clearly linked to the demarcation of territorial boundaries, the particular connotation of the conflict being: “the inability to recognise one’s own limits in the face of an external event”. The biological meaning is an ulcerous enlargement during the active conflict phase (sympathicotonia) in order to increase the possibility of marking out the territory with more urine.
The twelve year old girl, who had a mischievous younger sister, was becoming aware of the attractions of her body and had begun to take better care of her clothes, guarding them jealously. The younger sister, however, lost no opportunity to go rummaging in her elder sister’s wardrobe, causing her much annoyance and unleashing furious quarrels whenever she was discovered.
This may seem insignificant, but we should appreciate the feelings of this young woman. For her, every intrusion by her sister was actually an invasion of her territory and on each occasion it caused another outbreak of cystitis..

The Medical diagnosis is the usual one of “scapulo-humeral periarthritis” caused by inflammation of the tendons of the rotator cuff and confirmed, in this case with an ultrasound scan, by the presence of coarse calcifications along the tendon of the supraspinatus muscle.
According to the 5 BLs, it instead represents the “vagotonic” phase, involving repair with swelling/calcification of a previous phase consisting of necrosis of the tendon of the supraspinatus muscle.
The state of biological conflict that gives rise to these particular biological processes is the “inability to free oneself” of an unbearable situation. The biological meaning of the process is necrotisation of the muscle (the tendonous part) during the active conflict phase (feeling of worthlessness) and calcification (reinforcement) during the "vagotonic" phase.
The person in question is a railway station master and, given the nature of his work, is very punctilious. One day, his colleague fell ill and was replaced. The replacement immediately showed himself to be inefficient, unpunctual and with little sense of responsibility. The ensuing chaos all ended up on the shoulders of the station master, who couldn’t wait to be rid of this new colleague. After a month his old colleague returned from sick leave and the replacement was discharged. The station master breathed a sigh of relief at “being freed of” the colleague and, the very same day, while weight training in the gym his shoulder seized up. Although the Orthopaedic doctor blamed the calcification (which had been around for a while, the result of previous repair), the station master checked its course with the Biological Laws and, so as not to impede the repair, rested the shoulder for three weeks. At the end of this period the shoulder returned to normality and he was able to resume weight training. To remove all doubt another ultrasound scan was done which showed the calcifications to be still there!
